In the fields of automobiles, trucks, and construction machinery, water heating heaters are gradually emerging, providing reliable assurance for the operation of various vehicles in cold environments with their unique performance and wide applicability.
The working principle of the water heating heater is based on the coolant circulation system. It is usually installed in the engine compartment and connected to the vehicle's coolant circulation pipeline. When the heater starts, the heat generated by fuel combustion is transferred to the coolant. The heated coolant passes through the vehicle's own heat exchanger, evenly distributing heat to the cabin, engine, and other parts that require heating. This heating method not only effectively raises the cabin temperature, providing a warm and comfortable environment for occupants, but more importantly, it also preheats the engine, greatly improving the vehicle's starting performance in low-temperature environments.
For the engine, preheating is extremely critical. In cold weather, starting an engine without preheating causes the oil viscosity to increase and friction resistance between components to rise, which not only leads to difficult starts but also accelerates engine wear, shortening the engine's service life. The water heating heater heats the coolant so that the engine reaches a more suitable operating temperature before starting, reducing damage caused by cold starts. Relevant research data shows that using a water heating heater to preheat the engine can reduce cold start wear by about 40%, effectively extending the engine's overhaul interval mileage and saving vehicle owners a significant amount in maintenance costs.
In terms of cabin heating, the water heating heater also performs excellently. Because heat is distributed through the vehicle's own air ducts, it achieves a more even temperature distribution, avoiding local overheating or overcooling. Compared to some heating methods that blow hot air directly, the warmth provided by the water heating heater is gentler and more comfortable, without causing dryness or discomfort to occupants. For example, in a heavy-duty truck equipped with a water heating heater, after turning on the heater for 30 minutes in an environment of minus 20°C, the cabin temperature can stably rise to above 18°C, creating a warm and pleasant driving space for the driver.
Additionally, the water heating heater has obvious advantages in energy saving. Its fuel consumption is relatively low. Taking a common water heating heater as an example, it consumes about 0.6 liters of fuel per hour at high power operation, and about 0.3 liters per hour at low power operation. At the same time, because it uses the vehicle's own cooling system to transfer heat and does not require additional high-power fans or other equipment, its electricity consumption is also low, further reducing the vehicle's energy consumption.
