In the field of special vehicles, facing complex and ever-changing working environments and special task requirements, air heaters and water heaters are providing key support for the efficient operation of vehicles and the comfort of personnel through their innovative applications.
For some special vehicles performing tasks in extremely cold regions, such as snow patrol vehicles and polar research vehicles, air heaters have shown strong advantages. In these areas, temperatures often drop to dozens of degrees below zero Celsius, and ordinary vehicle heating systems simply cannot meet the demand. Air heaters, with their rapid heating characteristics, can quickly raise the temperature inside the cockpit and cabin to a suitable level. Their intelligent altitude recognition and compensation function ensures stable operation even in cold high-altitude areas. For example, on a snow-covered plateau above 4000 meters altitude, a special vehicle equipped with an air heater raised the cockpit temperature from minus 30°C to plus 10°C within just 15 minutes after startup, providing a warm and comfortable working environment for the personnel inside and ensuring the smooth execution of the mission.
In some special operation vehicles with extremely high noise requirements, the ultra-quiet technology of air heaters plays an important role. For example, in some medical rescue special vehicles, a quiet environment is needed for patients. The very low noise generated by the air heater during operation does not interfere with the medical equipment or patients inside the vehicle. At the same time, the control via a mobile mini-program or APP makes it convenient for medical staff to start the heating system in advance from outside the vehicle, ensuring that patients feel warmth upon entering the vehicle.
The application of water heaters in special vehicles is also distinctive. In some engineering emergency special vehicles, water heaters not only provide heating for the driver's cabin but also preheat the engine and key equipment. In cold weather, the viscosity of hydraulic oil in engineering equipment increases, causing difficulty in starting the equipment and low operational efficiency. Water heaters heat the coolant, allowing the engine and hydraulic system to reach an appropriate temperature before startup, effectively reducing the starting resistance of the equipment and improving response speed and work efficiency. For example, during a winter power repair mission, an engineering emergency vehicle equipped with a water heater started quickly and went into operation in a low-temperature environment, completing the repair task nearly 30 minutes earlier than vehicles without this equipment, winning valuable time for restoring power supply.
